EFE & GB NETS have been manufacturing fieldwork equipment, water sampling nets and frames for 36 years for educational groups, professional biologists and geographers.

Because it is our speciality we manufacture a variety of net sizes types and strengths to meet the demands of the global environment industry.  This is the Professional web site with detailed aquatic and terrestrial nets, components, monitoring and sampling equipment plus waders.

07/05/2010 - Please be aware that our products are being copied by a UK Distributor with frames that are being issued with our nets attached but the labels removed.  They still have the orange collar and do look like ours .

THESE ARE NOT OUR WATER OR SWEEP NET FRAMES AND THEY ARE  POORLY MANUFACTURED WITH POLE AND FRAME QUALITY ISSUES. AS WELL AS THE SEWING BEING COMPROMISED WHERE OUR LABELS HAVE BEEN REMOVED.  THERE MAY BE HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUES ON THE FINISHING OF SOME OF THE PRODUCT.  

THE  LARGER WATER NET  FRAMES AND NET BAGS TOGETHER  ARE NOT RESEARCH OR ENVIRONMENT AGENCY APPROVED- YOUR RESEARCH COULD BE SEVERELY COMPROMISED IF YOU ARE UNDERTAKING COMPARATIVE OR QUANTITATIVE WORK

Whenever possible please use the on line shopping facility.  We accept official orders by FAX or email with settlement within 30 days of invoice.  When ordering please state if you require a Euro invoice and always give your VAT number.

Most professional nets are held in stock but some are so specific to the customers requirements that they will have to be manufactured and this may take several weeks depending on the technical difficulty.  Our peak system is February to July.  We do not normally undertake bespoke manufacture during that time.

For exports please take into account the volume of your order.  It is usually far cheaper to purchase jointed nets that are themselves expensive and then pay a smaller amount for delivery.

The 100mm WELL NET can have an Endicott traditional sieve fitted at the entrance instead of an open ring.  The sieve mesh is either 1140 micron, or 90 micron.  This is a limited offer until stocks used.  Extra cost is £25 (a sieve alone is £50.83 from other suppliers)

This company has as small an ecological footprint as possible and as part of that policy we use 95% recycled packaging.  It looks shabby but works!
